2012 School Pictures!

Well, it’s that time of year again!  The kids are all back in school and it’s time to get back into a routine – something my family sure needed!  It’s also time for school pictures!  I am still available for a few family sessions as well as school picture sessions.  I don’t know about you, but I have never liked the pictures taken at the school!

School picture sessions are usually done right after school at a New Sarepta location.  Sessions are quick – about 15 minutes by the time we choose a spot and snap a few!  Turn around time is usually 2-4 weeks depending on my workload at the time.  Please contact me for more information if you are interested in booking a session!  tbhinkle@airsurfer.ca

Grad 2010 has arrived!

Grad 2010 is here and it’s only someone with one heck of a personality who chooses a pink suit for graduation!  I had tons of fun with this – and I think he did too… who knew you could find such a great location in a back alley?!  Good luck with whatever life offers you!  Here’s a sneak peek of some of my faves…

The 5 cousins….

My sister & I have 5 kids between us and we (or should I say our Mom) decided that we should make an attempt at getting all 5 of them to cooperate for a group picture…..  Now I must rewind to the last time we tried this….  The littlest one was about 18 months and the oldest about 5.  One of my boys would have nothing to do with wearing the matching shirts we tried so hard to find, and the rest were just a bunch of wiggle worms.  To top it off I was just getting started in this whole business and didn’t have proper equipment, blah, blah, blah.  You get the picture!  The only good one we got was of their feet after we lined them up on the deck and gave them freezies!  Yup – that would be the picture on the blog!

I must say, this time went MUCH better.  Funny how a few years experience can help things!  We went out to a great location near here and played hide & seek, climbed in trees & just had fun.  I’m so glad we finally have a few great ones of all 5 of them together….Thanks Mom, for getting us to try again!

C. Family….

I have a lot of catching up to do!  The summer has been super busy (as it has with everyone, I’m sure!).   I’m hoping to catch up on my blog over the next while…I hope!

The C. Family may look familiar to many of you as they’ve been here many times before.  It was great to spend some time with them again as they have a new addition to the family!

Congratulations NSCHS Grads of 2009!

Another school year has come and almost gone…..and with that comes all the festivities of graduation!  You’ve survived 12 years at NSCHS and are now moving on to other great adventures.  It was great to help you document the day with your group portrait (and a few others too) as I’ve known many of you for quite some time.  Congratulations to you all!  Here are just a few of my favorites – more will be on my main website (www.tarahinklephotography.ca).  A big thank you too to the K. family who let us all invade their lovely yard for the afternoon.  You were a huge help!

In the snow….

I had the pleasure of spending last Saturday with two great people.  Next time I do a shoot in the snow though, I will be sure to wear snowpants!  After some shots outside we came back to do some inside ones.  I can’t wait for their wedding in August!  Here’s just a peek at a few of my favorites…

Finally…..

I’ve finally decided it’s time to start a blog!  I’m hoping it will be a place for everyone to check out what I do.  I was looking back at some older shoots and realized that I’d like to share some pictures from those as well as sneak peeks from the new.  It’s so much fun to be able to capture those little moments that mean so much.  You forget so quickly how tiny those little hands and toes are or the expressions between brothers & sisters, mothers & fathers.

I’m having a tough time deciding where to start, but I think I’ll post a few of my own children.  After all, they are one of the big reasons I got started in this fantastic journey!  Many of you have probably seen these before, but I think they really show what kind of kids they are!  The first one is a favorite from quite a while ago…

Last fall we decided to go for a walk and maybe find some new places to take pictures along the way.  The boys were so excited to find the bridge!

Here’s hoping the year ahead brings wonderful things to you all!
